Dia de los muertos festival

Bare Hands, Inc. will host our city’s 20th annual Día de los Muertos (DDLM) celebration at National Historic Landmark, Sloss Furnaces, on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 4 - 10 pm.

This year we are excited to present a full-scale commemoration including: an Expanded Area for Memorial Altars (Ofrendas), Live Music, Dancers, Spoken Word, Memorial Roll Call, Procession and Second-Line, an Artist Market with Free Art Activities for Kids, and Food Trucks!

We will have a Beer Garden, ice cold Pepsi products and Margaritas!

Join Bare Hands, Inc., a 509(a)(2) Public Charity community-supported Arts Organization, as we celebrate life at our 20th Day of the Dead Festival on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark. Celebrate the lives of those that came before and those that are still with us through music, memorial roll call, New Orleans Style Jazz funeral procession, traditional dancers, food vendors, beer garden, artist mercado and, most importantly, the altars created in memory lost loved ones. 

Join the celebration and bring your friends, a small altar, or memento of remembrance. Dress bones, as a sugar skull or for a fiesta!
